Camden C. Danielson

 

Cam is a partner at MESA Research Group.  His work focuses on assisting leaders and management teams to revision future direction and opportunity amid the turbulence of personal, organizational, and societal change.  Cam has distinctive competence in delivery of executive development programs, building and leading high performing teams, and executive coaching.  His research has appeared in The Monroe Institute Journal, Academy of Management Executive, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Business Horizons, and The American Benedictine Review.

Cam has designed and/or conducted executive development programs for 3M, Anthem (Wellpoint), AT&T, BAE, BP, British Airport Authority, Boston Scientific, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Duke Energy, Credit Agricole, Dow Chemical, EDS, Eli Lilly & Co., ExxonMobil, FedEx, GDF Suez, Ingersoll-Rand, Lucent Technologies, Mahindra & Mahindra, Manitowoc, Monsanto, NASA, The Nature Conservancy, Philips Electronics, Polaris Software, Prudential (London), Rolls-Royce, Saudi Aramco, Shell International (London), Sara Lee, Schneider Electric Industries, UTi, Whirlpool, and Xerox.

He has consulted with firms on formulating a corporate learning strategy, improving organizational performance, and building and leading effective teams.  His clients have included Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield (Wellpoint), AT&T, Boston Scientific, CIGNA, FedEx, Eli Lilly & Co., Mt. Sinai Medical Center, The Nature Conservancy, Old National Bancorp, Agility, and the University of Notre Dame.

Cam has conducted workshops on executive development in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia and served as the Project Coordinator of the MUCIA/USAID Management Training and Economics Education Program in Central and Eastern Europe in the early 1990s.  He developed the Global Partnership for Executive Development in the mid-90s; a joint venture between the Kelley School of Business, INSEAD, and Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST).  He is currently director of the Global Leadership Program, a consortium of companies on three continents focused on development and delivery of a senior executive leadership program.

Cam’s background includes 20 years leading the office of executive education at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.  He also was a speechwriter for the President of Indiana University and a member of the faculty at the U.S. Air Force Academy.  Cam received a B.A. in Classical Studies from the University of Kansas, a Medieval Studies Certificate and an M.A. in English Literature from Indiana University.  He is an alumnus of 6 programs through The Monroe Institute (1994 through 2006), a graduate of the Xerox Middle Management Program (1990), a participant in the American Center for International Leadership’s US-USSR Exchange Program (1985), and a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Squadron Officer School (in residence - 1981).
